Bite Right School Food Trust

bite right is the name we have given to our nutritionally analysed menu ranges.

The compilation of these menu ranges is very complex as they fully comply with Government Nutritional rules. Each menu is delicately balanced to ensure the RDA (Recommended Daily Intakes) as advised by Government are strictly adhered to.

The Nutrient based standards for lunch which are currently law for Primary Schools and will be by Sept 2009 for Secondary Schools are now at the core of our menu planning and although not yet required to do so most of our Secondary Schools are ahead of the game and are using Bite Right menus now.

All menu's and recipe are available to Schools via the secure website accessible by our members.

Until the law changes for Secondary Schools, we will continue to produce the standard (yellow) EATdot menus which are compiled using food group frequency criteria.
